This is your opportunity to give back to the place you call “home.” Please consider a gift to the MACF. The foundation was began when several residents began brainstorming ways to increase the quality of life for our community residents. The hope was to create a permanent, charitable resource for the Morton area; and the result was the Morton Area Community Foundation. This foundation is a component fund of the Southwest Initiative Foundation. They assist us with education, training our board members and investment of our funds.

The investment division of Bremer Bank administers the actual investment of our funds while the MACF maintains local control over the distribution of our earnings. The annual disbursement is 5% of the endowed fund, with the balance of the earnings reinvested in the fund. This way, our monies continue to grow and create more income each year that we can distribute within the community to a variety of projects.
